coral wicklow blog!
We just want to say a huge huge thank you for the kind words and gifts we have and are receiving from our customers. We have been holding back tears talking with you at the desk so far today. It is so reassuring for us to hear that you have felt comfortable coming to the centre since we reopened and that you have seen the efforts our staff have been putting into making sure it is safe for you while you are here. We have and will always do our very best to ensure our customers are looked after.
We feel for all of you as we see every day how important the centre is to you all for so many different reasons. We know how focused some of you are on your physical health and admire your commitment to this passion, we know for many, if not all coming here, it is so important for your mental health and well being, we know that for many others just to have a chat with our staff and other customers means so much to you. We are a business but as manager, I know both my staff and I have and will always treat our job as a connection to our community. I always stress to our staff how important it is to say hello and goodbye to every single one of our customers. For some people, we could be the only people they get to have a chat with in their day and it means so much to them. It costs nothing to be nice and be kind. To the staff at the centre, I cannot thank you enough for always having Corals and our customers best interests at heart. As I have already said to you, you should be proud of yourselves for the work you have put in and for always remaining positive. It is very evident that your positivity passes on to other people from the kind words we are receiving from our customers. We look forward to having the centre ready to go for you all as soon as it has been announced that we can reopen. We work closely with Ireland Active who are doing great work behind the scenes to voice to our government how important leisure centres are to their communities. Our main focus will always be to offer a service no matter how big or small during each level if we can. If any of you need help or just a chat over the coming weeks, please get in touch. Some of our staff will be checking in on the centre and if you are unable to pick up groceries or prescriptions we may be able to help and drop them to your door. We will post workout videos online and will offer as many services as we can through our social media pages to keep you going. We will see many of you as you come in for your visits for the rest of the day but if we don't see you we hope that you all keep safe and look after each other over the next 6 weeks and I hope we can all work together to get the numbers down. Our staff are exceptional at always remaining positive and seeing the good in everything and we hope you can all continue to do the same....don't quit From Audrey & all the staff at Coral Leisure Wicklow
